LOCATION:  Race start and finish at Jackson Pavilion, near Rockledge Park and the dam of Lake Grapevine (just a few minutes north of DFW International Airport).

COURSE:  The course is on the beautiful and rugged
Northshore Trail, along the scenic shore of Lake Grapevine.  The terrain is rocky and will provide a challenge for  the fittest athletes. The 30K goes out and back from Rockledge Park to the turnaround.  The 50K course is one long out and back to the turnaround, then one short out and back. The 15K fun run course is out and back from Rockledge Park to Murrell Park.

REGISTRATION:  Entries will be limited to 200 total runners. Register by mailing an entry form and check to the address on the entry form.  Entries will also be available on active.com, and new link will be posted here when available. Late fee and registration deadlines will also be available here.

PACKET PICKUP: You may pick up your packet on race day between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. at the race start.

TIME LIMIT:  8 Hours. 50K cut-off at Murrell Park is 2:30 p.m.

WEATHER: Texas style weather: either hot and dry, cold and wet, cold and windy, but generally not humid this time of year.  Come prepared for anything.

AID: Well-stocked aid stations are located at Rockledge Park, Murrell Park, Twin Coves Park, and the 50K turnaround.

AWARDS:  Very high quality shirts to all entrants and volunteers. Awards to all finishers. Winner awards to first overall male and female in the 50K, 30K, and 15K, including male and female masters, and male and female seniors.

POST-RACE: Outstanding post-race food and camaraderie.

DIRECTIONS: From the East take 635 West and exit at Bass Pro Road. Turn left at the stop light. Proceed 1/3 mile past Bass Pro Shop until the road T's into Hwy  26. Turn left and go 400 yards to Fairway Drive. Turn right and go 3.1 miles past the golf course, over the dam and through the sluiceway. Turn left into Rockledge Park just before Griff's Hamburgers. As you go over a hump,  immediately turn left and follow the park road 1/4 mile to Jackson Pavilion.  From the West follow Hwy 121, exit Bass Pro Road, and follow the above directions.  From the North on Hwy 121, follow 121 south and exit Hwy 26 at Grapevine Mills Mall and Bass Pro Shop.  Stay on Hwy 26 to Fairway Drive then follow the above directions.
